Pool Frisbee

Description

Pool Frisbee combines flying disc skills with the fun and creativity of jumping into a swimming pool. Instead of catching on land, players leap from a diving board or pool edge and attempt to catch the disc while they are still in the air before landing in the water.

With the added challenge of timing your jump, reading the disc, and making the catch mid-flight, Pool Frisbee creates opportunities for spectacular catches, creative moves, and plenty of laughs.

Equipment

  • Swimming pool
  • Flying disc (a softer disc is recommended)
  • Diving board or safe jumping area
  • 2 or more players

Objective

Complete the most exciting, creative, or challenging catches before entering the water.

How to Play

  • One player stands safely on the pool deck and acts as the thrower.
  • The catcher starts on the diving board or designated jumping area.
  • The catcher jumps into the air while the thrower delivers the disc.
  • The goal is to catch the disc before touching the water.
  • Players rotate roles so everyone gets a chance to throw and catch.

Scoring Ideas

Pool Frisbee can be played casually or turned into a competition by awarding points for:

  • Successful catches
  • One-handed catches
  • Trick catches
  • Difficulty of the throw
  • Style and creativity

Players can compete individually or as throw-and-catch teams.

Variations

Distance Challenge

Increase the throwing distance to make catches more difficult.

Style Competition
